ThaiClick (the “App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information.
1. Information the ThaiClick developer does not collect
The developer does not save or send visited website URLs, selected text, translations, names, email addresses, location data, or advertising identifiers to a developer-operated server. The app has no developer-operated translation or AI server and no proprietary analytics.
2. Information stored on your device
Saved phrases and records of words not found in the dictionary, including lookup count and date, are stored only on your device. You can delete them in the app. Deleting the app may also delete this local data.
3. On-device translation with Google ML Kit and technical data
ThaiClick uses Google ML Kit on-device translation for supplementary words, words not found in the dictionary, and natural full translations. Required language models are downloaded from Google the first time they are used. Translation runs on the device; source text and translation results are not sent to Google or a ThaiClick translation server.
ML Kit may send technical information to Google for service delivery, diagnostics, usage analysis, and performance improvement. This may include device and app information, installation identifiers, performance data, feature initialization and model download events, errors, and selected source and target languages. 4. In-app purchases
ThaiClick Plus purchases and restoration are processed by Apple’s App Store. The app uses StoreKit to verify purchase status. The developer does not receive or store payment information.
5. Sharing with external apps
The iOS share sheet opens only when you tap “Research with an AI app.” You review and choose the destination and content. Information shared afterward is handled under the selected app or service’s privacy policy.
6. Safari extension access
The Safari extension operates on websites you allow so it can explain selected Thai text. It does not send or store browsing history or selected text on the developer’s server.
7. Children’s privacy
The app does not intentionally collect personal information.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when features or laws change. The date on this page will be updated for material changes.
